To dream of an accident three times and then witness its fulfillment has been the unhappy experlence just re- corded of a Hqbart (Tasmania) man. A laborer employed by the Hobart city corporation was turning the hand winch ef a crane. The jib of the crane swung around and a wire rope came Into contact with the high tension elec- tric wires overhead. The result was that the laborer was electrocuted. A week Dbefore the accident one of the man's workmates was uneasy in his mind. Ile was troubled by a strange dream that was repeated three times. In his dream he saw a fatal accldent at the crane. It occuyred In exactly the same way as that which caused the actual accident. He told his mates of the dream, which had made such a deep impression upon him, and it was the subject of considerable discussion. The fulfillment of the dream came as a shock to those who had been made familiar with the story. Medieval Goins, Many of the medieval colns were far larger and more ornate than any issues today. The dle cutting was not only more elaborate, but {n much high- er rellef. Some of the German colus of the Seventeenth century were 413 inches in diameter and contained one pound of silver. Coins such as these of the 10-thaler size are to be found In many collections, and the colus of the 2, 3, 5-thaler or dollar slize are in many cages not especlally rare and can be obtained In almost mint state for rea- sonable prices. In many cases silver cups and plates were cut up in sec- tions about equal in weight to $2.50 pleces and these rude plunchets were counter-stamped in the corn and center with punch marks of crests and coats of arms. There was a common ‘practice of “clipping” coins of any ir- regular shape, and this practice wa punishable with death, SOW RAPE IN FALL FOR HOGS By Turning Animals on Crop Month or Six Weeks They May Be Cheaply Finished. Dwarf Essex rape late summer or ea 1y be sown in and the hogs fal given a fine start toward fattening. By turning pigs on rape a month or six weeks they may be easily and cheaply finished. According to Min- nesotn authorities, an acre of rape will carry from twenty to thirty pigs | for several weeks. Dwarf Essex rupe should be sown on rich land. Five pounds of seed broadcast will sow an acre. The soil should be prepared well and sowing _done in late summer or very early fall. S ——— e ——— For Sale or Trade carpenter’s Power Saw....§18,00 The phrase, “Wishing you a most pleasant trip,” is incomplete when used as in the letter shown today. A comma should be added, followed by the words “I am” or “remain’” The ending “Sincerely yours” be- ing correct. To omit the ‘“‘yours” is not complimentary to the person be- ing addressed. SUBSCRIBF.
