PAGE FOUR ol et N ACH These are Qur Decorafions - " The Liberty Bonds we bought that we couldn’t afford AND we're glad we bought them. We're glad, every time we see a man in khaki, that we backed him to our individual limit — that we don’t have to sneak around a corner because we're ashamed to meet him face to face. Those Yanks of ours are coming home now by every returning transport, some of them with the red and green cord of the French decoration or with the War Cross pinned on their breast. Every otherday you andI are stopping to greet some new, bronzed familiar face in the jaunty over-seas cap. One and all, those boys are proud of the part that they have played — and that America has played —in the biggest war in history. We're glad, too, that we have had some 'small part in it all. We're proud that we can show our decorations,— the Liberty Bonds we bought that we couldn’t afford. And we're going be a lot prouder if we: can show bonds of all five Loans. It will mean that like our fighting men we stayed on the job and saw it through—to a ) finish. ‘TUESDAY EVENING, APRIL 18, 191 & [ ] (] - Py L] This is your last chance, and mine, to perform that service for our : country and win that decoration. We cannot afford to let it- pass. B | nvest in the 4 This-space contributed by BEMIDJI ELEVATOR & MILLING, O'LEARY-BOWSER CO.
