They sent three represen- tatives, Mrs. Noels, Mrs. Eva Kaiser tand Mrs. Joe Steidl in to headquar ters on Wednesday to make their sample garments. Their circle in- tends to spend a whole day every two weeks on Red Cross work. Finished garments are being brought in every day and the shelves are filling rapidly of the work re- turned up to date. Bemidji Business College will open for enrollment Sept. 3, 1917. 3d 810-17-22 THEATERS AT THE ELKO It is far easier, far easier, to preach than to practice. Everyone knows that but after viewing little Mary Miles Minter in the latest of the American-Mutual specials in which this delightful star is feat- ured one goes away in a more neigh- borly spirit, a kindlier feeling for the under-dog, a resolution to try just a little harder to see the good in those “who never had a chance” and an unwillingness to condemn too soon. “Environment” is the name of the play. It is an understandable story, well pictured and artistically han- dled. At the Elko theater tonight. R R R R N R R RN EXF LI EER AR R ® e DR. C. R.
