A short literaary program aud basket social was given at the Winan school Wednesday evening. J. D. Bogart was auctioneer. The pro- ceeds, amounting to $15, will go to- wards furnishing a Christmas tree for the schools. The committee on the next literary program is composed of Henry Plummer and Jesse Fisher. The Christmas program committee consists of Miss Smith, Mrs. Paul Pel- tier, Myron Shoop and J. D. Bogart. The school children have been much interested in selling Red Cross stamps this week. Robert Shaw attended the farmers’ institute in Bemidji on Saturday.
