Nagle of Buffalo, Wright county, was a visitor in the c‘ity last evening. Mr. Nagle was a member of the last legislature and took a prominent part in legislative matters. Hon. S. D. Works of Mankato is in the city today. He has been spending several days at and near the Red Lake agency. He will go to Kelliher, where he also has busi- ness interests. Nels Otterstad left last evening for the iron range country, where he will locate a large party on stone and timber claims north of Tower City. John Wickdahl of Shevlin, the un- fortunate man who had his right foot severed by the train in an accident at Solway a month ago,was in the city again yesterday to have the wound dressed. He states that he is improving as rapidly as could be expected and that he expects soon to be able to use an artificial foot on the affected member. J. Peterson, Jr., of Bemidji spent several days last week with his brother,Ferdinand T. Peterson. The appearance of the former was in the nature of a surprise to the latter, in that he did not know of his brother’s existence, the first named having left home when the latter was still an infant.
