PRESBYTERY AT WARREN| Clergymen Leave for the An- nual Meeting of Adams Presbytery. Rey. S. E.P. White of this city, Rev. Barackman of Blackduck and J. J. Trask left today for Warren, where they will attend the annuval meeting of Adams Presbytery which embraces of the territory west of Itasca county and north of Brainerd. Rey. White, the new pastor of the Presbyterian church here, | will be admitted to the présby- tery at this meetng, and his in- stallation as pastor ‘of the church will probably take place some time in May. CASE OF JOSEPH ERICKSON TRIED THIS AFTERNOON. Accused are allvResideilts of the County and Live in Buena Vista Moval Lake District. The timber trespass cases which have been worked upon by state timber cruisers during the past few weeks came on for trial before Judge Pendergast this afternoon. The accused men are all homesteaders living between Buena Vista and Moval Lake. They are defended by P. J. Rus- sel and Chas. Scrutchin, The case of Joseph Erickson was first called the timber in dis- pute being 4340 feet. Er claimed the timber for his own but admitted that he had cut some timber from government land. The state attempted to show footprints from the govern- ment tracts to the water where ,the disputed timber lay.
