Beltrami county cannot rest quietly under the terrible stigma of the Dahl murder. It is evi- dent that the section of the county in which this awful deed occurred needs a most thorough purging. The Quiring district 1s a country of homesteaders; all the land is taken up, but it is heavily timbered and the houses seems far apart. It appears that a number of bad characters have infested all that country for some time past. Some of them are homesteaders themselves. These men need a terrible lesson and the opportunity is at hand to give it to them. The country is by no means overrun with “bad men,” but there are one of two notorious characters whose ex- more license than the law allows. The conviction and punishment, and in this case the limit of the law is demanded, of the persons guilty of this crime is urgently demanded for the purging of the of the homestead districts of Beltrami county. THE state campaign will not open until after the democrats have held their convention Au- gust 80, Pity the democrats would not wait until October 30. There has been enough political upheaval this year to ruin busi- ness utterly and it is surprising that business is as good as it is beset with so much politics. Ir it is true that the meat trust has forced e labor war in order to raise prices the trust may find - that it has started something which it can’t stop. Some of us may learn to be vege- tarians. - CoromBIA wont play in our back yard any more. WARNINGER, Secretary, Cured of Chronic Diarrhoea After Ten Years of Suffering. “I wish to say a few words in praise of Chamberlian’s Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy,’’ says Mrs. Mattie Burge, of Mar- tinsville, Va. ¢I suffered from chronic diarrhoea for ten years and during that time tried vari- ous medicines without obtaining any permanent relief. Last sum- mer one of my children was taken ‘with 'cholera morbus, and I pro- cured a bottle-of this remedy. Only two doses.were required to give her relief. I then decided to try the medicine myself, and did not use all of one bottle be- fore [ was well and I have never since been troubled with that complaint. One cannot say too much in favor of that wonderful The Pan-American circus which has been showing through medicine.” This remedy is for sale at Barker’s Drug store.
