At the meeting of the Board of Public School Trustees last evening Trustes W. H. hrowne, in presenting the list of teachers of the second district for confirmation, notic- ing that a large proporiton of the first names terminated with the fashionable and foo! ish “te,” called ettention to the fact and changed them tothe proper names in each ca - cept that of Miss Dalton, who was christened Sallie. This was a proper thing to do.
