Mudd, a young colored sailor of] , Southeast Washington, who went down with the battleship, Maine will be brought to this y for interment. He was a member of the crew of the cruiser San Francisco when she cleared decks and ‘‘opened port” for action in the harbor of Rio de Janeiro during the Brazilian revolu- tion, several years ago.
