Allen is survived by his wife and four ehil- dren, one of them, Taylor S. Allon a patrolman in the Police Depart ment. Lieut. Allen, who was filty-six years old, joined the department in February, 1894, and retired on Veb 15 of last year, after having spent wenty-four continuous years in the Wureau of Crimiual Identification.
