The explosion of an acetylene gas tank in the boiler room of the steam- ship Julia Luckenbach lying at Pier Seven, at Johnston Avenue, Jersey City, to-day, filled the room with flames in which two men were burned to death, two were seriously burned and will probably die and nine others sustained painful injuries.
