Ht was a team that certainly lived up to the expectations of its most in. optimistic friends, . On the other hand it must be said that the Georgia ‘Tech team was somewhat of a disappointment. It did not match up with the glowing accounts of its prowess which had preceded it. The game it played on Saturday did much to explode the theory that a good offense is the best defense. During thé present season Georgia Tech has heen meeting teams that have not sufficiently tested its de- fensive power. This was apparent on Saturday when Penn State's delayed buck went through the defensive line for repeated gains. This lack of defensive power Was also shown in the Tech team’s inability to hurry the forward passes of Penn State. Time after time Killinger was not hurried in the least, and had plenty of time to pick out his receiver. .
