WASHINGTON, Jan. 13.—State and ‘Treasury officials were unable to ex- plain to-day the announcement from Athens that the balance of a 15,000,- 000 credit granted the former Greek Government had been made available to the Constantine Government. There had been no change as to the status of the fund, it was said at both de~ partments. Pending formal recognition of the Rew Greek Government, it was sald, the balance of $88,000,000 would re- main in the Treasury.
