In his communication, addressed R. D. Cooper, President of the tcarue, | Mr. Nathans charges that the league | is fixing milk prices arbitrarily, with- | out negotiation, provided for in the 1919 settlement agreement. The De- cember price was arbitrarily fixed. ‘Mr. Nathans says, but as it is lower than the November price, the distrib- utors voted to accept it without oen- troversy. This policy has been pursued by the league, according to the letter, for the last three months, and in- stances are cited in which the Con- | ference ioard directors tried to! negotiate with the league, but learned the prices distributers were expected to pay from arbitrary an- Rounceménts by the league. Mr, Nathans also protests against the co-operative sales chemes of the | league, distributing da’ry products | of its members under a pooling | agreement in ‘competition with dis- tributers obliged to pay a dictated baric price.
