The quakes, which started Monday Night and have continued intermit- tently, caused property damage in Los Angelea County estimated at $100,900, three-fourths of which was in Inglewood, ten miles away. The damhge in this city is exti- mated at about $20,000. The first two shocks, which were the most severe, came in quick suc- cession, covering a period of about fifteen seconds. Following shocks, variously, reported as numbering from three to six, were slight tre- mors.
