B.-A. people,” GMC Prices Were Lowered That GMC prices were—and could be— lowered without being reduced at the ex- pense of quality, is one of the rewards of war production. The war brought many hardships and many advantages; also its recompense. It drove home the lessons of standardization and quantity production. To meet the War Department's need for motor trucks the GMC Factory reached an enormous production—making its own trucks—GMC Trucks selected and standard- ized by the government — not those designed by others. With the war-time demand at an end, it is a simple matter to turn production into com- mercial channels. The same quality; the same manufacturing methods, with every advantage gained through improved facilities, are and will con- tinue to be for the benefit of GMC customers. Price reduction is one of the advantages gained—gained without sacrificing quality in the slightest particular. Therefore it, too, shall be passed on to the customer.
