Mme, Marie Augustine Lebaudy and her daughter, Jacquelin, who teft their home, The Lodge, Westbury, L. L early to-day in @ taxicab were located this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Charles Webber, Glenwood, L. I. Mrs, Webber is the mother of Mrs. Minnie Weidmer, the nurse who has been in attendance upon Mme. Lebaudy. Mme. Lebaudy, who was freed yes- terday by the Nassau County Grand Jury from the charge of murder for shooting her husband Jacques Le- paudy, will rest for two or three weeks, Jacqueline answered the door when inquiries were made about Mme Le- baudy. “Mother ie a little better to-day,” said Jacqueline. “But the doctor says she is too sick to see any one, and all she wants is to be left alone for a little while.” During this time she will decide about sending Jacqueline to school, Jules Lascombe, the gardener, was in charge of The Lodge to-day. Ac- cording to Jules Mme. Lebaudy has given the property to him to farm and Jules told the reporters that he is going to send to Peru for his wife. ‘The estate has about forty-five acres of farming land, Meantime her lawyers will attempt to reach an amicabdie settlement with other heirs of the estate of Jacques Lebaudy whom she killed when he threatened her with a revolver in eer home known as “The Lodge.” While Westbury understands that Mme. Lebaudy is without funds, and may continue to be without ready cash for some time, there is no limit to her credit among the tradespeople of the neighborhood, She has wealthy friends, moreover, among them Mra. Charles De Saulles and Mrs. Emily Ladenburg, who will see that the widow and her little girl are well cared for.
