The mother has been searching for her daughter since her disappear- ance twenty hours out of every twen- ty-four. She goes about in @ taxi-| cab most of the time, but frequently4 walks, and she is becoming so weak that she has recently collapsed sev- eral times in the streets, Fadna, with her sister, Katherine, both sing in the choir of Christ En- glish Lutheran Ghurch at Lafayette and Patchen Avenues, Brooklyn, and on the night of Dec. 12 they started for choir rehearsal. They found that tlie rehearsal had been postponed and started for a walk. About 8.30 o'clock they met three flashily dressed young men at Gates and Reid Avenues. The men seemed to know Edna, according to her sister, who went back to the church and left her with then. The sister waited for more than an hour, and then when Edna did not show up she went home, told the mother her story and the! search began. Edna ts an attractive girl with dark brown hair und blue eyes, five feet six fmches in height and weighs 145 Pounds. When she disappeared she was wearing a dark velvet coat, a brown skirt, a black hat and black @hoes and stockings. She has a rich @eprano voice and was a favorite in ghurch and home circles. “If she will only come home,” said Mre. Knappman to-day, “I will forgive Der no matter what she has done.
