Only 100 passengers in cabin and steerage went on the Campania and 96 were in the three cl ot the French boat. Among the Campania’s passengers were Capt. R. E. James and Licut. H. B. Carter of the English army, who @ame from Tokio, where they had een stationed for two years, and are their way to rejoin their regiments the field.
