PROFESSORS HELP F MAYOR MITCHEL T0 RUNTHE CITY NOW ‘of Students, Employed in Study of City Problems. {The administration enlisted the ald three college professors and a class of students in political science to-day t@ solve the problems confronting the city government. On the suggestion of Mayor Mitchel and City Chambe: lain Bruere, Milton E. Loomis, in- structor of municipal government in New York University; Prof. Leonard Blakey of Dickinson College, and Prof, William Lankie of New York Univer. sity, have had desk room assigned to them in the Municipal Building, and thay will begin their duties at once. Prof. Loomis already has begun his work in the Commissioner of Ac- counts's office. Resides applying the most scientific and up-to-date meth- ede to the operation of the oity de- partments he will attempt to ascer- tain in just what departments col- lege men could be placed to render the most service to the city.
