After three months of ceaseless work, a formidable gang of automo- bile thieves, whose activities have been such that no one dared leave @ high-priced car unguarded, even in the most public street, has at last been run down, and in all probability before nightfall detectives will arrest two or more of the ringleaders, Several of the gang are already in the hands of the law, as the stealing @f care has been widespread in this @ty, and it is agreed that the placing ef the quietus on the thieves has @ome at an opportune time.
