HE Olympic athletes are gathering I from far and near. On next Tuesday the team sails, and all the men have instructions to be in town by Sunday at the latest. Many have come here in time to do a tew days’ training before the start. B high jumper, is staying at the N. ¥. A. (C. Kerrigan comes from the Far West—Portland, Ore. He has been jumping for fourteen years and has never been beaten. His best Performance was a jump of 6 feet 4 inches. Kerrigan is not training at ell.
