GEORGETOWN UNIV. in 100- Yard Event. HE first indoor athletic carnival that Columbia College has held in Madison Square Garden in twenty years will take place to-morrow night. From present Indications, the meet will long be remembered. From the class of the entries and the arrangement of the programme it will be second only to the famous relay races which are now the annual fixture of the University of Pennsylvania, There are no less than eleven relay events scheduled for the even- ing. The principal one, of course, will be the one-mile intercollegiate relay race, teams of four men each, each man to run 440 yards. In this event Harvard, Yale, Pennsylvania, Columbia, Princeton and Cor- nell will have teams entered, and many predict a new indoor record the distance. In the two-mile race, Yale, as well as Columbia, Pennsylvania and Cornell will have teams. In the relay race for teams from Manhattan and Brooklyn Y, M. Cc. A. branches six teams have entered. Owing to te large number of entries the committee has decided to commence the games promptly at 7.30 o'clock. Besides the relays and the two National A. A.
