AGED CARPENTER HANGS HIMSELE Michael Schraut, One of the Characters of East Ninth Stréet, Broke Rule of Tem- perance and Ends Life. ‘Aged’ Michael Schraut, whore pa triarchal face and figure made him one @f the characters of the neighborhoods in which he lived, was found hanging to @ gas fixture to-day in the rear of his earpenter shop, at No, 4% East Ninth gtreet. ‘The body had been hanging since lest Bundey.
