The Santit had & {ist to port, and pari of the hawser, to which the Seth Low had been fast, was towing astern of the Ringleader, About two Weeks ago the Santuit was towing the same barges, both of which at that time broke their hawsera and drifted away. The Santult put into Del- aware Breakwater, while the Ringleader Was towed to this port by a tug which Picked her up. LONDON, Jan, 14.—The Grimsby corre- spondent of The Times telegraphs that e@ steam tug reports that she towed the Italian bark Columbia, from Yarmouth, into the Humber River. The bark had Jost all her sails in the storm. She an- ehored in the river, and the tug de- parted. Afterwards the bark began to drag, and eoon drifted ashore and be- came a wreck. She had a crew of nine aboard, all of whom were drowned. Another vessel in the Humber foun- ered and al! hands were lost before assistance could reach them, Nothing was found to establish the identity of the vessel, The British steamer Rowan has found- ered in the Bay of Biscay, One of her boats, containing six survivors and two dead men, has been picked up.
