Dirty oil, such 2s is obtained from the engine, may be reclaimed by pouring it into the hat and allowing it to drain thru into the vessel beneath. The felt holds all dirt and oil which filters thru will be just as clean as it was originally. This oil may be used in the engine again altho it is not quite as good for this purpose as new oil. An ex- cellent use for the filtered oil is to mix it with enough grease so that a very heavy oil is thus formed.
