Blanc is now in its third week and is attracting widespread and enthusiastic interest among lovers of good dancing. The contest is under the direction of Mr. Hamilton Douglas, and his decisions, week by week, are being accepted with the heartiest approval. The Contest is open to all Amateur Dancers and couples may enter at any time. The object of the Contest is to encourage good dancing and to enhance Seattle’s reputation in that respect. Couples will be selected each evening by Mr. Hamilton Douglas to appear the follow- ing Wednesday in the weekly contest. Winners of each of the six weekly contests will be guests of Chantecler through- out the following week, and winners of the final contest will be entered for the Northwest International Contest to be held at Chantecler later in the season. $200 IN CASH PRIZES A cash prize of $25 will be given to the Winners of each of the six weekly contests, and a Cash Prize of $50 to the Winners of the Final. The weekly contests will be judged on the Dancing of the Fox Trot, Waltz and One-Step, and in the final contest the Tango will be added. Dancing starts each night at 9 o'clock, and the selections are made after 11 o’clock.
