Foran, former University of Washington baseball star, re. turned to Seattle aboard the steam- ship Victoria from a geological sur vey trip into Alaskan waters Friday. Foran and four companions wero given up for lost for a time after the Teddy Bear struck the headwinds in the Point Barrow district. They fi- nally put into a bay between Wain-| wright and Nome and were trans. ferred to the Sea Wolf for passage to Nome.
