They are “Wee” Coyle, lieutenant governor, and Mark Reed, speaker of the house. The way for them to do this service is to bring to bear upon the legislature the power of effective leadership. The present session is the most shame- fully negative of any in recent years. Another week remains. It is all too short a period, yet long enough to accomplish a great deal of value if prop- erly used.
