This is the most vital, the most significant show which has ever been held in the city of Seattle. The manufacturers of our state through the me- dium of Seattle women are showing thousands of our citizens what HOME PRODUCTS MEAN. To date, the show has proven a magnet which is drawing our people to it in crowds; they are fully, alive to its stupendous importance. 4 From the time you enter this wonderful exhibition of Washington-made products until you leave it you are constantly amazed at the excellent. and varied offerings of the manufacturers. EVERYTHING FOR THE BUILDING AND FURNISHING OF A HOME. EVERYTHING FOR THE KITCHEN, THE PANTRY, THE GARDEN, THE BOUDOIR. EVERYTHING IN MEN’S AND WOMEN’S WEAR. ‘ IN FACT, EVERYTHING FOR EVERY PURPOSE, FOR EVERYONE. And remember, dear reader, all of these things are made in daylight factories, under the most sanitary conditions, by the healthiest and most intelligent peo- ple in the whole United States—by far the MOST. Let us hear less of —“This is direct from New York”—“This was made in Paris or Timbuctoo.” Let it be “MADE IN THE NORTHWEST.” When it is made in Seattle or the Pacific Northwest we know that it is made well. And right here and now, let us get away from this squabbling by employer and employe as to whether it is made under closed shop conditions or -under the American plan. If. that is going to be a bone of contention we might as well bank the fires and close up shop. No community can thrive under such difficulties. If it is made in Seattle, by Seattle men, it is good enough for Seattle people. so— LET THIS GREAT EXHIBIT BE NOT MERELY A FLASH IN THE PAN, BUT LET IT BE THE FORERUNNER OF A GREAT, CONCERTED EFFORT ON THE PART OF EVERYONE LIVING WITHIN THE CON- FINES OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST TO “CARRY ON.” DEMAND NORTHWEST PRODUCTS of the dealer.
