Their first location was in a small m Jackson st. and Occidental ave., from which location they in 1903 to larger quarters at the foot of King st. In 1908, st. quarters being no longer adequate for their increas- they negotiated a lease of a portion of the Westerman- N property on Lander st. and East waterway, where they ‘their own machine shop building, moving therein the same ons were built to the Lander st. plant from time to time @ steady growth of their business exceeded the maximum of their equipment at that location, whereupon in the latter L917 they erected what is known as their Plant No. 2, on County Industrial tracts on the Duwamish waterway in and they are now operating both the Lander st. and ish waterway plants. Their plant No. 2 is exceptionally well d for marine work, having a private slip from the Duwamish a private wharf 510 feet long for the laying up of vessels.
