Franchise Grab Three Strong Reasons Advanced by Property Owners Why Voters Should Support Mayor Hanson in Fight Against Proposition “A.” We, the undersigned property owners and taxpayers of Seattle, are unalterably against the granting of the N. D. T. franchise to be voted on at Tuesday’s election. The following three reasons are amply sufficient: First: We are decidedly opposed to our city giving away any more long-term franchises for unnecessary duplication of service already : furnished at as low a cost as obtainable in any city in America. Second: Investigation ; shows that no lower insurance rates will be given for this service than that now furnished by our home com- pany. Third: That it will not improve Seattle fire protection nor lessen fire waste as compared with the service now obtainable. FRANK WATERHOUSE GEO. A. LOCHMAN H. C. HENR¥ Li a ae Oe cere LEONARD T.
