REGULATE ’EM There can't be too much attention paid to the many autos now carrying passengers. The Star all along has said the street car men are right. The men today have proved they are right. Only men who are right, and know they are right, are willing to arbitrate. The street car men today offer to ar- bitrate everything if the company reinstates the men it has discharged or suspended here and in Tacoma for joining the union. This is but a trifling concession asked of a «om- pany which is advertising that it is not opposed to unions and collective bargaining. In the opinion of The Star, the men have gone the limit. Even tho struggling for their very existence, they have recognized our national peril, and the necessity for indus- trial peace at home. They have proved themselves real patriots. WE HOPE MR. LEONARD AND HIS ASSOCIATES WILL MEASURE UP TO THIS SAME STANDARD OF PATRIOTISM.
