You bet, and you can thank the Chamber of Commerce, the reactionary news- papers, a rotten legislature, and some of the others who falsely claim to be “low tax fellows,” They're the ones who put over the infamous Renick law, which gives the bankers the city’s money, and then makes the city pay interest to the banks whenever the city wants to uSe some of that cash balance of $3,000,000.
