SEATTLE, June 13.—All doubt as to the fate of Captain F. A. Woodman, master of the inleg steamer Uncle Sam last year, who left Kenai December 23 in an open boat to go to Seldovia, was dissipated a few days ago, when Alex- ander R, Ryan, deputy marshal at Ke- nal, found a canvas bag containing clothing and papers belonging to Woodman, which had been washed up by the high tide near Nenilchuk, about fifty miles below Kenai.
