A. R. Haskins, who was accused of bringing six wagonloads of trunks and grips from Union Square to Oakland and charging exorbitant rates for re- leasing them denies that he acted without authority, citing credentials to prove his right to handle the baggage and to show that & nominal charge only had been exacted.
