HOSTETTER'S STOMACHBITTERS Allowed to Visit Sick Child. GENEVA, Feb. 7.—The lawyers of the former Crown Princess Loufse of Saxony to-day received a telegram from Dresden definitely refusing the Princess’ request to be allowed to see her sick child under any circumstances. DRESDEN, Feb. 7.—The separation ot | cess to see her children will be decided | Ministers to-day and submitted to them |a telegraphic request from the former fessor Giron does not change the pres- ent legal situation and will not have the slightest effect on the divorce proceed- ings, which will be resumed on February 11. The Princess can never return to the Saxon court, but ske possibly may effect a reconciliation with her own family and take up a permanent residence in Aus- tria. THe question of allowing the Prin- by King George only after the court which is hearing the divorce testimony renders judgment. King George called a councll of the Crown Princess, sent through her law- yers, begging to see her son Christian, who' is dangerously ill. HONOLULU, Jan. 31.—“Boohoo” fever has made its reappearance here after an absence of nearly twenty years. Medical men call it the “dengue!’ fever, or a mild form of Panama fever. It is not danger- ous, only disagreeable, and affects the white people more than the natives. In fever and pains in all the bones. the olden days it used to be said that no- body could claim to be a resident of Hawail until he had experienced an at- tack of “boohoo.” Its symptoms are somewhat like those of the grip—a rack- ing pain in the small of the back, high It is accompanied by a rash and lasts for a week or ten days: Teachers and pupils in the public schools have succumbed to the disease in large numbers, and even the doctors have not been exempt. An- other name for the sickness is “Dbreak- bone” fever, because the pains and aches in the bones make the patients feel as if thelr bones would break. The name “boo- hoo” was given to the fever because | those who had it were always ready to cry. The mosquito is a great distributor of the sickness. ¥ Valley Special.
