ADVERTISEMENTS. IS A SERIOUS MATTER. The Most Serious and Fatal Diseases Arise From Indigestion. Chronic indigestion or Dyspepsia, while a very common tromble,: has for some time been looked upon by able physiclans as a sericus thing and that no time should be lost in treating it properly at the start, because recent researches have shown that the most serious, fatal and incurable diseases have their origin in simple dys- pepsia or indigestion. Diabetes is simply one form of indie gestion, the sugar and starchy food not being assimilated by the digestive organs. Im Bright's disease the albumen is. not properly assimilated. CALL BUREAU, 1406 G STREET, N. W., WASHINGTON, Dec, 9.—As an in- teresting outcome of the defeat re-election for last fall of Representative ‘W., WASHINGTON, Dec. 9.—When the Senate meets to-morrow the fight for the admission of Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahcma as new States wit be in the open. It will be a_ very stubborn contest. Senator Quay, as the leader of the move- ment to admit all the Territorles as States, is unceasing in his efforts a asserts that he has fifty-three votes pledged. In his list are included all the | Democratic Senators; thirtysthree, and | twenty Republican Senators. It is not believed by the opponents of ithe scheme that Semator Quay has any such number of Republicans who are willing to follow him on this question. A great”many ‘conferemnces have been held ¥ to cure. This has been the question which has puzzled physicians and dyspeptics alike, until the question was solved three years ago by the appearance of a new discovery in the medical world, known as Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets, which it was_claimed was a certaln, reliable cure for every form“of stomdch trouble. Physielans, however, would not accept such statements without first giving the new remedy many tests and carefully observing results. For three years the remedy has been thoroughly tested in every section of the country. and with surprising and satis- tactory fesults. Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets can be hon- estly claimed to be a specific, a radical, Eugene F. Loud of California, who was | openly opposed by the letter carriers’ or- | ganization, it is probable that Mr. Loud will be appointed Fourth Assisant Post- master General and the letter service transferred to his department. Should this be done it would be cdnsidered as the President’s rebuke to the letter car- riers,;as Government employes, for inter- and there is talk of having a caucus of | the Republicans and thus putting Senator | Qtay and his followers in a position of deliberately bolting their party, if they persist in forcing Arizona and New Mex- ico into the Union. The feeling is running | very high and the opponents of the Quay | omnibus bill do not mince matters in djis- cussing what they term the ‘jobbery” phase of the question. They assert that what = lot of happiness it would bring to | San Francisco homes. 1 Backache pains come from sick kidneys. - They’re a cry for | help that the little filters send out when they can’t do the W| work nature gives them to do. ‘ lasting cure for Indigestion in the various forms of acid dyspepsia or sour stomach, gas or wind on stomach, too much bile, undue fullness or pressure after eating and simflar symptoms resulting from dis- ordered digestion. Mr. Loud Committee on Postoffices and Postroads, before which is pending a bill to increase the salaries of letter carriers. Leaders of the letter carrlers’ organization made ef- forts during the last session of Congress to have this bill reported to the House, but were unsuccessful. Their case was brought so prominently to the public at- tention last winter that the President is- sued an order prohibiting Government employes from taking part in any move- ment to have their salaries increased by is chairman of. the House it is merely a scheme to enhance the value of active or contemplated mining and railroad investments in these Terri- torles. They say that the vast stretch of the desert will never be populous and that if both Arizona and New Mexico are admitted to the Union it will be a repe- tition of the mistake that was made when Nevada was admitted. They point out that while there are a fow prosperous’ settlements where great | advancement has been made; still in the cenfines of Arizona and New Mexico there are only five towns whose population ex- Iceedn 200. Senator Quay proposes forc- ing the fight and as already stated in The | and they have recently been placed in the tradé-and can be found on sale at all druggists’ at the nominal price of 50 cents per package. No.extravagant claims gre made for the remedy. It will not cure rheumatism, pneumontia, typhold fever nor anything but just what it is claimed to cure and that is every form of stomach trouble. No dieting is necessary; good, wholesome food and plenty of it and you may rest assured that Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets will digest it. Druggists claim for it that it is a pleasure to recommend it to dys- pepties, because it gives such universal action of Congress. satisfaction. ‘When_ the session adjourned and the committee had not reported the bill the letter carriers laid the blame on Chair- man Loud. When he began his campaign for re-election in California labor organi- | zations and the letter carriers took a hand in opposition to him. It is charged that a compact was made between of- ficlals of the American Federation of La- bor and officlals of the letter carriers’ or- ganization to use every effort to defeat | Mr. Loud as a punishment for his refusal | to allow the salary bill to be reported.
