SUMMARY OF THE MARKETS. New York Stocks rather easy on the day. Sugar Stocks continue to improve here. Mexico reduces the import duty on Wheat 90 per cent. Wheat makes another sensational advance. Barley Futures from 3c to 5c higher. i Oats and Corn still very firm, but Rye dull. Wheaten Millstuff's advance in sympathy with Wheat. Some kinds of Hay higher again and Straw advanced. Bran and Middlings firm, but no higher. Beans firm, with a continued overland demand. Butter, Cheese and Eggs about the same. Dried Fruits firm, with vather more demand for Prunes. Hams and Bacon declining again, with dealers freely cutting. Hogs weak in sympathy with Hams and Bacon. Hops still firm, with growers more disposed to meet the market. Oranges and Lemons in good supply and slozw. Poultry in light receipt. Game lower. Five cars of Dressed Turkeys in from Oregon and the Missouri Riv River Potatoes coming in heawily. Supplies of cheese continue light and the market is firm. Previous prices rule for eggs. Receipts con- tinue moderate and stocks here are hardly as large as at the close of the week. The extra demand for Thanksgiving may check any fur- ther decline, for the moment, at least. Receipts were 38,600 lbs Butter, 280 cases EgEs and 1400 1bs Cheese. The general run of offerings lacked color and sold slowly. Sup- plies of grape frult proved excessive and prices continued low. Lemons continued in free sup- ply and were nactive.
