The California Wine Association was censured yesterday by a Coroner’s jury “for mot having proper safeguards ap- plied to their elevators.” The case was that of Ernest Raffestin, who was acci- dentally killed on September 27 in an ele- vator of the company. The Pacific Coal Company was cen- sured also for the death of Jesse Bren- nan, a teamster, who was accidentally killed ‘on September 29 by a coal barrow.
