Robert McCaskie, an employe in the barns of the Union Transfer Company, on Tehama street, between Third and Fourth, swore to a warrant before Judge Conlan yesterday for the arrest of Joseph Manning, a boy 16 years of age, on the charge of petty larceny. He is accused of stealing a leather apron belonging to McCaskie from the barns. Manning used to be employed at the parns and he is accused of making it a practice to steal parcels from the delivery ‘wagons, whips, aprons and ani‘ other thing handy. McCaskle says anning sent word that he could have his apron back on payment of a dollar, the cost of the apron being $3. He had made similar demands upon other emPloye- for the re- turn_of aproms, it is alleged, and it was decided to have him arrested. ———————— Records Marriage Contract.
