Mrs. Lovell White, president of the club, addressed the ladles present on the subject of incorporating the organization. The project met with favor. Suggestions were made by some Denver ladies who are visiting in 8an Francisco and who are members of an incorporated club in their home city. They stoted that with them the experiment had proved an unques- tioned success and placed their club on a Dorothy Harnden and Mrs. Charles A. Warren were appointed a committee to learn how the action might best be taken and to report therecon at the regular an- nual business meeting of the club, which is_to be held on next Tuesday. Mrs. Lovell White originated the plan more than a year ago and the matter has been discussed frequently since that time, but no public attention was given to it till yesterday. The incentive to incorporate, The club is also planning to have a club- house as soon as feasible and unless articles of incorporation are filed its of- ficlals cannot transact business in a proper manner. Mrs. White also states that the club has some money and it is desired to invest this in such a manner as to draw more interest than it does at pres- ent. It is thought that as a business con- cern the club can inspire more respect | among business men than if it remains an irresponsible organization.
