Mrs. Louisa Arata of 716 Montgomery | avenue, who left home on July 16 after repeated threats of suicide, made her word good, and her disfigured body was [cund yesterday morning floating in the bay at section 1 of the seawall. Several months ago an infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Arata dled of the croup. The father at the time was in Italy, and the mother became afflicted with the idea that on his return to this city he would blame her for the child’s death. She | grieved so much over the matter that her brain gave way, and at 11 o’clock on the night of July 16 she slipped out >f the | house unknown to her husband and dis- appeared.
