Thrilling Experience of a Sa- loon-Keeper With Two Footpads. RELIEVED OF A LARGE SUM V3 | Thinks He Could Identify the Men in Case They Are | Arrested. | loon at 625 Fourth street, was held up by two masked men at the corner of Fourth and Brannan streets early Sunday morning and robbed of $220 and a gold watch and chain. Hourihan closed his oon shortly after 8 o'clock and was on his way home when he was stood up. Last night he visited police headquarters and gave a description of the robbers to Chief Lees. The saloon-keeper, realizing that he was in the hands of desperate men, at once left the scene, and did not stop to ack until he was several blocks flicer he told him of her they returned to the scene of the hold-up. He describes the third man as being about 20 years of age, with a smooth face and wearing a dark suit of clothes. He is positive he can identify them in they are ar- rested.
