CHICAGO MARKETS. CHICAGO, Ir%.. Sept. 24.—The railroad and warehouse commission decision canceling the li- censes of a number of elevators, gave rise 10 some uneasiness in speculative grain circles touching the ability of the remaining warehouses to handle the supplies at this place. As the matter is now to be carried into court, where it is liable to drag fora year, or probably longer, the anxiety is decidedly premature. Nevertheless, wheat derived some benefit from this source eariy to-day as well as at the close vesterday. The world's sbipments, 7,329.000 bushels, fell short of what they were estimated yesterday, further firmnes being credited to that fact. ' Northwestern movement continues heavy. Export clearances at the seaboard amounted to 183,000 bu 1s. Bradstreet's reported an increase in the world’s available supply of 3,887,000 bush- els. After this announcement was made the mar- ket exhibited a lesser degree of strength and prices eased off, but toward the ciose displayed renewed firmness, Deember Wheat opened from 5814 to 5854c, sold between 5833@5814ac and Buc, closing at 5934c, 114@138/c higher than yesterday.
