This will no doubt cause great dis- appointment at Mayfield, where prep- arations are being made to have a necktie partie, according to reports. It is not knowa what disposition will be made of Blanks. Bob Blanks, as will be recalled by readers of the Sun, was arrested near Cairo several days ago for a rape committed st Mayfield last January, and which was ove of the worst in the history of Kentucky, Threats of burning him were made at the time, and if he had been cap- tured then be would no doubt had to suffer untold agonies before being finally killed.
