A Close Call—Another Train De- railed Near Wingo Yester- day Afternoon. Passengers on the train which left here yesterday afternoon for Louis- ville, No, 202, had a close call not long afterfthe train had left. She was a little late, and up between Big Clifty and Grayson Springs, the engine jumped the track and rap ,| almost across the trestle on the rails before she was stopped. The marks were clearly visible on the trestle where she had passed, and caused a shudder to pass through passengers who passed over it afterward Train No. 204, which was due here at 2:15 this morning fron Mem- phis, was mysteriously derailed near vi 3 hours as a result, arriving here after 5 o'clock, There was a shock felt, and in a short time she was derailed. Ed Cartright, charged with va- grancy, was released. George Tilley, Ed and Bud Smith and Robert McManus were tried for abreach of the peace, and fined re- spectively $1 and costs and the lat- ter $10 and costs. Joe Smith, of the county, was fined $5 and costs for a breach of the peace. Thomas Boaz was fined $5 costs for a breach of the peace. Thomas Fowler was given $1 for drunkenness, Lizzie Caldwell, George McElroy and Sam West, colored, were charged with stealing a market basket, Me- Elroy pleaded guilty and was held. The case against the other two was left open. Ida Munn, colored, was fined $10 and costs for # breach of the peace. Charles Brown and Anna Horn- beak, for immorality, were fined $20 each and costs. Kalph Amos was fined $20 and costs, Eugene Miner was fined $5 and j costs for being drunk and disorderly.
