Miss Sara Vore Taylor of the Central High school has returned from a summer spent in study at Columbia university and visiting in the environs of New York City. A feature of her outing was an auto Y trip from Brooklyn to Lake George. Mr. Thomas J. Kelly will teach in. Webster. During Miss Schwartz’s stay in Chicago she appeared as soloist in several nent churches, among them Warren Avenue Congregational, whose pastor is Dr. J. A. Jenkins, formerly of St. Mary's Avenue Congregational church of Omaha. « Florence Basler-Palmer has just re- turned from New York City, where she spent “another very successful summer season’ studying voice under W.
