Headdresses and vells offer a wide opportunity for taste and fancy Here 18 a charming little one—not quite so little, either—whose inspiration has been the old Dutch fashion, It is, of course, for a young girl, and a garden party is the proper place to wear it. The fringe of the cap spreads on little wire supports away from the face, and rising from it is the odd little net. A little Dutch yoke collar adds its touch to the headdress. . Here are two smart automobile vells and hats. The hat on the left-hand side s of straw, with a plain band of ribbon around it. The vell in the right-hand picture fis odd and interesting. Where it goes over the face there is # wide mesh. In the balance of the veil the mesh is small and in conventiona! figures.
