Mr. Holmes has always been & lover of gports of all kinds and Is a recognized leader in all amateur and semi-professional athletic organizations and movements. Threo years ago he be came proprietor of a billlard parlor at 1508 Dodge street, but since that time his business has outgrown the quarters, 4o that when the Rose bullding wns con- structed he lost no time in making ar s-angements for the largest room avall- able, Here he has fitted up one of tho brightest spots in Omaha The thirty tables are all of the newest design, belng the highest quality prod ucts of the manufacturers.
